PEM Scan

I was wondering if any of the members have had a PEM (positron emission mammography) it is a PET scan that just focuses on imaging your breasts using the same positions as a regular mammogram. It is a very sensitive and specific test that looks at your body on a cellular level vs anatomical. Meaning it can detect changes before they get large enough to be seen by convential imaging ie, MRI, Ultra sound or Mammography. It is truly a extraordinary tool in the fight against breast cancer.See More
