These brave women were body painted and then photographed! I went to a fundraiser this week at Moffitt Cancer Center, in Tampa,Fl. The Bible says that God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real). Our circumstance can cause a healthy fear, but an unhealthy fear is being scared. The evidence of being diagnosed with cancer is real, but the truth and promise of God IS that HE is the healer. Love abounds, and covers a multitude of sin. Love conquers all. Power is what we have inside of us. The Holy Spirit empowerers us to go through what we go through.…

I won't lie; its been a very tough week! I had my first 4 1/2 hr. Chemo treatment last Thursday and today I am finally up. They said it wasn't the chemo that made me so sick but the shot to build my white blood cells and bone marrow that did. My family has been here with me thruout and I am finding out I have some pretty awsome kids , family and friends! There were some days I was feeling terribly sorry for myself but looking at what others are or have gone thru I feel pretty blessed. …

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I began praying. Praying should be specific, so I asked God to contain it. I had a PET scan, and God contained it in my left breast and lymphnodes (left armpit). Then I began praying to God to, "dissolve and remove". After the first chemo treatment, my tumor went from 3.5 centimeters to 2.5 centimeters. Each treatment the tumor had gotten smaller until the doctors could'nt measure anymore. There was nothing to measure. This was before my surgery. …

Purpose of Twists
Twists can boost energy when feeling tired or fatigued. When we twist, we literally squeeze tension and toxins out from the body. In twisting poses, our muscles have an opportunity to squeeze and relax, and once finished, the area that released will then experience a rush of blood and nutrients.…

There are certain influences on breathing that trigger unhealthy breathing, and pain is just one. The breath will register pain with sudden piercing inhalations and fierce exhalations, and the breath stays affected the entire time that the pain persists or until the pain crisis passes. Emotions also…

We take the breath for granted; that it is automatic and will always persist, uninterrupted day and night. But precisely because breathing does not require our attention it can be hard to understand “why”.

God, sometimes I just hate that saying. In the middle of chaos or struggles or uncertainty, someone will undoubtedly offer me this tidbit of advice.
“Thank you for the pleasant reminder,” comes out of my mouth. An instant resentment begins the brewing process in my brain. Someday, someday, I hope my insides match my outsides.
I woke this morning on the fold out sofa in a friend’s home. Roles have been reversed and I was fortunate enough to be able to play the role of…

Forty one years old, single, no children. Highly motivated and successful salesperson. A not-so-great tri-athlete; but a driven, ambitious, stark, raving Type A soul.
Then cancer and I did our dance. It wasn't like a pole dance or anything. It was more like a cha-cha. Forward, backward, forward, backward. Or better yet, a roller coaster. A roller coaster through a fun house where everything gets all distorted and weird. Yeah, that was my life on cancer. I tried to get back on the…

I found out I had stage 3 breast cancer in September. I also have another disease Vonwillebrand. Due to my blood not clotting they couldn't put me on chemo at the time and the cancer spread. Last Monday I had a partial masectomy with lymph nodes and am very sore and weak. Friday I went to the Dr. and he told me they got more results and I have to go back to surgery in 2 weeks, then have a port put in and go thru chemo. Is there anybody…

I am invitating members of this website to be my friend. In order to do this I need an e-mail address to be able to add. My e-mail address is msofcmpvp@yahoo.com. I have no immediate friends that I can add because they are not going through the challenge we face on a daily basis. I believe God's purpose for me is to encourage and support others. I have 1 friend at this time. (the breast cancer society itself) In our global society today, we can never…
